The Search for Meaning: Science and God (DVD)
A Converstion with Os Guinness and John Lennox
by
In Science & God, author and social critic Os Guinness engages Oxford University Professor of Mathematics John Lennox in a conversation that explores this tension, with calculations that subtract neither God nor science. Lennox looks at both historical and contemporary explanations of the universe, and he uses debate-tested conclusions and simple illustrations to clarify the real issues of this controversy.
John Lennox is a professor of mathematics at Oxford University, an author, and an internationally known speaker on the relationship between science, philosophy, and religion. Standing firm in his faith as a Christian, he has participated in a number of televised debates with some of the world’s leading atheist thinkers. Lennox holds a MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge, a DSc in mathematics from the University of Cardiff, a DPhil from the University of Oxford, and a MA in bioethics from the University of Surrey.
